Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch Ujjwala 2.0 scheme via video conferencing in Uttar Pradesh’s Mahoba district. PM Modi will also interact with the beneficiaries of the first phase of the scheme.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the second leg of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana(PMUY) on Tuesday at Mahoba District in Uttar pradesh via video conferencing.
The virtual program will start at 12pm in Mahoba and PM Modi will interact at 1.00 pm. PM Modi will interact with 10 beneficiaries of the second phase in Mahoba and distribute online certificates to them. During the event, PM Modi will also interact with five beneficiaries of the first phase.
In the first phase of the Ujjwala scheme, over one crore LPG connections were made available to the poor families of Uttar Pradesh.
In the second phase, over a thousand people in Mahoba district will benefit from the Ujjwala scheme.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also attend the event from Mahoba. CM Adityanath, along with Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh puri, will also inaugurate the Biofule Exhibition organised at the parade ground of the Police Lines in Mahoba district.
On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released Rs 19,500 to over 9.75 crore farmers as part of the PM Kisan scheme and interacted with some of the beneficiary farmers from across the country.
