Get your popcorn out. It’s time for the story of the Space Viking, Thor Odinson. He was no ordinary man — he was a god. After saving planet Earth for the 500th time, Thor set off on a new journey where he got in shape! And after all that he reclaimed his title as the one and only Thor.
And after all that he reclaimed his title as the one and only Thor. But, is he? Not only must Thor (Chris Hemsworth) defeat Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), he has to deal with his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and the mighty Zeus (Russell Crowe) as well.
Along with Hemsworth, Thompson, and Portman, the main roster of the Guardians of the Galaxy are all expected to appear. Jeff Goldblum, who played the comically narccicistic Grandmaster in Ragnarok, is also set to reprise his role.
Bale is set to play antagonist Gorr the God Butcher in his MCU debut, a virtually immortal supervillain who has battled it out with Thor in the comics since January 2013 in Thor: God of Thunder
