The VIVO SUB-BRAND iQOO is making strong efforts to make a name for itself in the higher- midrange market. A few months ago, the brand introduced its iQOO 7 lineup, and now the brand is gearing up for the lunch of the iQOO 8 SERIES. The launch of iQOO 8 has ben confirmed to take place on August 17. Considering the iQOO 7 is a well-rounded device, expectations from the upcoming iQOO 8 are quite high.
The brand has already confirmed some details ahead of the lunch, as per which the iQOO 8 pro will sport a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra wide lens and an addition 16-megapixel mid focus sensor. Besides this, iQOO 8 will sport an E5 AMOLED panel with a scalable refresh rate of 120Hz.
iQOO 8 is tipped to feature Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 888+ SoC. In addition, it will bring support for 120W fast charging. iQOO 8 specs and features
The iQOO 8 series is set to launch next week on August 17. The lineup will likely consist of three devices iQOO 8, iQOO 8 pro, iQOO 8 BMW Edition. Ahead of the launch, plenty of details have been confirmed by the brand. More recently, the brand shared camera details along with a few samples of the iQOO 8 pro. As per which, the smartphone will sport a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 16-megapixel mid-focus lens with 14mm-60mm focal length.
The right end of the device houses a distinct colored power button and the volume rocker. Whereas at the bottom it has a speaker grille, USB Type-C port and a sim-tray. Also, there’s no headphone jack on this device.
iQOO 8 would be the first to feature Samsung’s E5 LTO display. It is will get a 6.78-inch panel with 1440p resolution and a pixel density of 517 PPI.
iQOO 8 launch date
The iQOO 8 launch has been confirmed to take place on August 17, 7.30 PM in China. While there’s no information around the India launch yet, we expect to see the smartphone in the country soon.
iQOO 8 India price
The iQOO 8 seems to step up from the current-gen iQOO 7, so the upcoming smartphones in the lineup might be priced slightly higher. The base variant of iQOO 7 starts at 31,990, whereas the iQOO 7 Legend ships at Rs 39,990. Keeping the current pricing in mind, we expect iQOO 8 to be made available around Rs 35,000 whereas the iQOO 8 Pro could go around Rs 45,000.
